Paul Lepage
Senior Vice President,
TELUS Health Solutions
With over 20 years of experience within the health, telecommunications and information
technology sectors, Paul is responsible for expanding the company’s position as
Canada’s leading healthcare IT company; providing innovative solutions, combined
with the connectivity that TELUS wireless and wireline broadband networks enable,
that turn information into better health outcomes across the care continuum.
Mr. Lepage joined TELUS Health Solutions in 2009 from MediSolution Ltd., a leading
North American information technology company, where he was President and Chief
Executive Officer. In this role, he focused on restructuring the organization and
the product lines to better serve customer and market needs. His leadership resulted
in the turnaround of the company and its privatization in 2009.
Prior to joining MediSolution, Paul held various leadership roles including Chief
Marketing Officer, Chief Operating Officer and head of Global Sales for a number
of leading technology companies.
Mr. Lepage holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Concordia University
and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal. Paul
on the board of directors for BlueStreak Technology, Montreal InVivo and Kinlogix
Medical and is on the Advisory Board for the Ivey Center for Health Innovation.
Mr. Lepage is co-chair of the mental health working group for the Sandbox Project
and has received the ICD.D certification granted by the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Carlos Carreiro
Senior Vice-President,
Client Service and Operations
TELUS Québec and TELUS Health and Financial Solutions
Carlos Carreiro is currently Senior Vice-President, Client Service and Operations
for TELUS Québec and TELUS Health and Financial Solutions. He previously held the
position of Vice-President, Client Service and Operations at TELUS Québec, where
he managed the delivery of major network migration projects including the Government
of Quebec’s RITM (Réseau intégré de télécommunications multimédia) and the City
of Montreal project.
Following TELUS’ acquisition of Emergis on January 17, 2008, Mr. Carreiro was named
Executive Vice-President, Service Delivery and Operations for TELUS Health Solutions.
In this capacity, he was responsible for the development of numerous applications
and systems integrations, and management of the company’s IT services and operations
departments.
Mr. Carreiro joined Emergis in December 2000 as Senior Vice-President, Operations.
In 2003, he moved to Washington, DC to assume the position of Director of Technology
for the American division of the company’s Electronic Health Solutions. He was a
vital member of the executive team which successfully managed the sale of the division
in early 2004. In November 2004, Carlos Carreiro was named Executive Vice-President,
Service Delivery and Operations for Emergis.
A highly experienced executive, Mr. Carreiro has over 26 years' experience in the
IT industry, particularly in the areas of corporate integration, pre-sales, and
mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Carreiro previously held various senior positions
in a firm within the securities industry, and acted as Vice-President of outsourcing
at CGI between 1995 and 2000.

Glenn De Roy
Vice President,
Health Delivery Solutions

Mr. De Roy is a seasoned information technology executive with over 30 years of
experience in the healthcare, non-profit, justice, energy and agriculture sectors.
As Vice President, Health Delivery Solutions, Glenn leads a team that brings to
market and implements a suite of solutions that manages critical health information
and connects stakeholders across the continuum of care including hospitals, clinics,
providers, health regions, governments and government agencies.
Prior to his current role, Glenn was Group Vice President, Professional Services
where he was responsible for leading the company’s consulting and implementation
services activities for all health clients globally. Glenn has a deep background
in advising clients on strategic initiatives and leading mission critical activities
for healthcare facilities, health regions and provincial and national-level organizations
across North America.
Mr. De Roy holds an Honours diploma in Computer Systems Technology from the Northern
Alberta Institute of Technology and has successfully completed the Executive Development
Program at the University of Calgary. Mr. De Roy is based in Edmonton, Alberta.

Kasra L. Moozar
Vice-President,
Sales and Business Development
TELUS Health Solutions & TELUS Quebec
As Vice-President, Sales & Business Development, Health and Public Sector, Mr. Moozar
is responsible for driving growth for the company in the Government sector with
the introduction and implementation of large-scale, innovative technology solutions
for customers in Canada, the U.S., as well as on the international front.
A seasoned executive, Mr. Moozar has held senior level positions in business development,
marketing and strategy for a variety of companies within the information technology
and healthcare sectors.
Kasra Moozar, an advocate for health standards, sits on a number of national committees
at the executive level including the Canada Health Infoway Standards Collaborative
Strategic Committee, the Montréal Chamber of Commerce Health Committee and the Québec
Committee for MEDEC-AITS and contributes to the positioning of Information Technology
within the health system as an enabler of better patient care and patient safety.
Mr. Moozar holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from McGill
University.

Mark Rivette
President,
TELUS Sourcing Solutions Inc.
Mark Rivette was appointed President of TELUS Sourcing Solutions Inc. (“TSSI”) in
November of 2010. TSSI is a subsidiary of TELUS reporting into the THFS business.
TSSI delivers human resources, payroll and associated application management services
to a number of clients in Canada with a focus on delivering to large, complex, multi-union
organizations such as government agencies and companies in the health, education
and the public sector.
Mr. Rivette has been with TELUS and TSSI for ten years in a variety of business
development and leadership based roles. Mark was a key member of the team that designed
the partnership with the Calgary Health Region and helped transform a vision into
reality through the creation of TSSI. He has been integral in negotiating all of
TSSI’s major business deals and partnerships.
Prior to joining TELUS, Mark had over 10 years of experience in public sector health
care including director roles in both Finance and IT at the Calgary Health Region
(now Alberta Health Services). He received a Masters in Health Services Administration
from the University of Alberta in 1991 and a Bachelor of Science from the University
of Calgary in 1983.

Luc Vilandré
Vice-President,
Health Benefits Management
In November 2009, Luc Vilandré became Vice-President of Health Benefits Management,
a division of TELUS Health Solutions. In his role, Mr. Vilandré is responsible for
expanding the company’s leading position as best-in-class health claim management
solution provider for major insurance companies and governments in Canada.
Prior to that, Mr. Vilandré was appointed by TELUS to manage the integration of
Emergis, following its acquisition in January 2008. After being dedicated to a leading
function for the integration, his role was extended in January 2009, where he became
responsible for mergers and acquisitions for TELUS Health Solutions as well as for
strategic partnerships in the healthcare and financial services industries. Before
the acquisition of Emergis by TELUS, Mr. Vilandré was Vice-President for the TELUS
National Application Group, where he was responsible for the development, marketing
and management of IT and IP business applications.
Mr. Vilandré has been active in the Information Technology sector for more than
25 years, gaining a solid experience in strategic planning, sales and marketing,
as well as in operations management and consulting services.
Before assuming his present responsibilities, he held different positions for several
companies, including SHL Systemhouse, IST and CGI.
Mr. Vilandré is a graduate from the Business Administration Faculty at the University
of Sherbrooke.

Dave Wattling
Vice-President,

Mr. Wattling is a senior information technology consultant and accomplished entrepreneur
with over 30 years of experience. In addition to providing strategic, practical
advice and quality assurance for client engagements, Dave brings his general leadership
and business development skills to guide the Transformation Services team. This
team provides the talent and services necessary for healthcare organizations to
realize the maximum value from their investment in advanced information systems.
Before joining TELUS, Dave was Managing Partner and co-founder of a niche healthcare
management consultancy of some 200 professionals operating across Canada and in
the US and UK. In this role he was responsible for corporate management, business
development and oversight of the US, UK and Western Canadian operations.
Prior to that, Dave spent 20 years building a number of successful businesses with
healthcare as the primary focus. His background is truly multi-faceted – software
and service, large and small business, North American and European venues.
Dave is an award-winning management consultant with significant healthcare expertise.
He is the Founding Chair of ITAC-Health, Canada’s trade association for healthcare
IT firms, and he is the Associate Editor of Healthcare Information Management &
Communications Canada. Dave holds the Certified Management Consultant, Information
Systems Professional and ICD Certified Director designations.

Michael Guerriere
Vice President and Chief Medical Officer
Transformation Services

A respected strategist, Dr. Guerriere works with leading health care institutions
on information management, clinical change, quality improvement and health care
operations management. He has leveraged his extensive experience in clinical, technical
and business settings to help leading health organizations achieve their goals and
improve care for patients. He has also consulted for governments on health policy
and strategy, particularly in the areas of hospital funding and integration of care
delivery.
Dr. Guerriere holds a degree in Medicine and specialty training in Internal Medicine.
He received an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern
University in Chicago. Prior to joining TELUS, he served ten years as an executive
in academic hospitals and eleven years as an international health care consultant.
Dr. Guerriere is a frequent guest lecturer and contributor to the health management
literature. He holds appointments as Assistant Professor in the Department of Health
Administration at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Toronto and Adjunct
Associate Professor at the School of Health Information Sciences at the University
of Victoria. He has served on numerous boards including Ryerson University where
he served as Chair, MediSolution Ltd., Canada Health Infoway, Canadian Institute
for Health Information and the Institute of Clinical Evaluative Sciences.
In 2009, Dr. Guerriere was awarded an honorary doctorate from Ryerson University.

Dr. Brendan Byrne

TELUS Health Solutions
Dr. Byrne is Vice President, TELUS Physician Solutions, a new line of business dedicated
to helping physicians improve productivity and clinical outcomes. A practicing physician,
Dr. Byrne is a graduate of Yale University and McGill Medical School. He has over
20 years experience in family practice, including seven years as a principal of
Columbia Medical Clinic.
Prior to joining TELUS Health Solutions, Dr. Byrne was the founder of Wolf Medical
Systems, the largest cloud-based EMR provider in Canada. Brendan has overseen the
progression of Wolf from a startup in 1998 to one of the fastest growing EMR companies
in Canada. He is recognized as a leading physician informatics expert in North America
and has spoken at many medical and informatics conferences about the importance
of leveraging data at the point of care.
