TELUS Health Solutions Challenges Quebecers to Eat Healthy, Exercise and Maintain a Balanced Lifestyle with Motivational Text Messages during ACTI-MENU’s 5/30 Health and Wellness Challenge

Montreal, QC, January 6, 2010 – Remembering to eat their fruits and vegetables, to exercise daily and to strive for lifestyle balance just got easier for the first 1000 participants who register to receive text message support from TELUS as part of ACTI-MENU’s 2010 5/30 Health and Wellness Challenge! As a proud sponsor for this year’s health promotion campaign, TELUS Health Solutions will provide a motivational coaching service free to the first 1000 participants to register who are also TELUS Mobility clients.

Participants can register for the coaching service when they register for the Challenge. For six weeks, from March 1 to April 11, participants will receive a variety of text messages on their mobile device encouraging them to stick to their goal to eat at least five servings of fruits and vegetables, to exercise for at least 30 minutes a day for a minimum of fives days a week and to maintain a balanced lifestyle.
