Drug plans, or formularies, were created to promote improved health outcomes, control drug costs, and increase accountability with physicians and plan members for their drug therapy. We offer three formulary categories: traditional, managed care and target formularies. Plan sponsors decide on the formulary, or multi-tier plan that would best fit the needs of their employee plan members.
By offering a wide range of formulary options, we allow insurance carriers and plan sponsors to provide adapted coverage for each group's specific needs. TELUS Health Solutions has a team of pharmacists that have extensive knowledge and experience with these formularies and are available to help define the most appropriate formulary or multi-tier plan for a specific group. Custom formularies can also be created to meet very specific needs.
